Updates to the biomarker validation and fields in the VHR

API Updates

  • LOINC to biomarker mapping: New logic manages multiple LOINCs mapping to a single biomarker. The preferred LOINC and value are used for scoring, with validation messages identifying ignored values.
  • Lab Panel parameter: A new lab_panel field in the VHR generation request payload identifies the lab panel associated with a biomarker. Include this field in the predictor object when the panel information is available.
  • Validation updates: Enhanced validation logic for Health Question biomarkers in the scoring payload. Biomarkers not used for scoring are now ignored with a not_assessed return code instead of invalid_code.
